The Farm at Green Village | Green Village, New Jersey
The Farm at Green Village in lovely Green Village, New Jersey, contains over 30 acres of trees, plants, flowers, and animals.
They have an amazing and beautiful variety of flora and fauna, and everything you'd need for your garden or patio.
It is one of my favorite places in New Jersey because it is pretty and peaceful.
It's a magical place . . .
I am very fond of the beautiful swans.

Howell Living History Farm | Hopewell. New Jersey
Howell Living History Farm is a working farm museum located in Mercer County, New Jersey, near the Delaware River.
The farm shows visitors what farm life was like over 100 years ago.
It is a simply wonderful place to take the whole family, and basic admission and parking are free!
Some special programs may have a small fee.
There are evening hayrides, "bringing in the sheaves", corn mazes in the fall, wheat threshing, cricket walks, honey harvests and farm animals. Children may also work as farmhands!
The farm is typically open year-round, Tuesday-Saturday from 10AM to 4PM.
Please check the calendar because the farm is closed on certain days, especially on the days of evening hayrides.
If you plan to visit, the farm is technically located on Hunter Lane, Titusville, New Jersey.

Watching Bees Make Honey At Delicious Orchards | Colts Neck, New Jersey
Watch Bees Make Honey
Remember Delicious Orchards?
I wrote about them in 2012. It is a wonderful gourmet country food market where you can get delicious produce, doughnuts, etc.
They also make their own honey right inside the store.
The bees come through a tube in the wall and go into a “beehive” and produce fresh honey.

Fosterfields, - A Living Historical Farm, Part 2 | Morristown, New Jersey

Fosterfields Living Historical Farm
Fosterfields, located in Morristown, New Jersey, is a beautiful place to visit.
Yesterday I explained the history of Fosterfields. Here are a few more photos.
In first photo above are corn cribs, used for storing and drying field corn, which is eventually fed to the animals.
The next two photos are cornfields.

The first photo below shows the ensilage pits.
Ensilage is livestock feed made by chopping green corn stalks and storing them in an almost airtight environment.
