The Newark Cherry Blossoms Are Getting Near the Peak Season

The cherry blossoms trees in Branch Brook Park in Newark, New Jersey are starting to get near their peak. They were delayed because of the long, cold winter.

Some of these trees are oddly shaped.

Some of the trees are reluctant to bloom, especially the dark pink ones. I hope they do bloom soon.

Some are pretty much on schedule.
These photos were taken on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2014.
