Cherry Blossoms! Part 1

The cherry blossoms are starting to bloom at Newark’s Branch Brook Park! This park has more cherry blossom trees than Washington, D.C. There are over 4,000 beautiful cherry blossom trees.

Even though the sign says that they are at their peak, some of the pinker trees haven’t fully bloomed yet. We had a cold winter that just dragged on into spring, and they were late bloomers this year!

  1. oh, I was just thinking today...as I took a few blooming pics of my own...that Branch Brook Park must be a riot of color.

Even if I hate to think of the words Newark and riot together...lol

    1. Oop! I must have turned that word verification thing on by accident. I really hate them (probably because I'm so bad at them). Anyway, thanks for visiting.:)

  5. I love Cherry Blossoms. When my husband and I first were married, we called them kissing trees. When we saw them, we always kissed. :)

  9. Sigh, these trees are so lovely I feel joy in my heart just looking at these photos. Thank you for sharing. In the Chicagoland area this past week has been raining and very gray days to face. At least we didn't get pounded with snow. Spring will come.
