New Jersey Memories

Hurricane Sandy is supposed to strike New Jersey tomorrow. It remains to be seen how much damage it causes. Last year we had two bad storms - Irene and the freak snowstorm in October. During Irene, there was massive flooding throughout New Jersey. During the snowstorm , we lost power for almost a week and many trees were destroyed.

Delicious Orchards in lovely Colts Neck, New Jersey is in a rural area surrounding by produce and horse farms. 

Thomas Edison purchased a large estate, Glenmont, in 1886. The estate is located in the exclusive gated community, Llewellyn Park, in West Orange, New Jersey. It is very close to his laboratories. Edison and his wife and children lived in this house, and many famous people visited the Edisons.
