I had no idea that when I lost my job that I would be so busy. I thought that I would have all the time in the world to blog.

I'm trying to set up my own business but it is a lot of work. Fortunately, it is a business with low overhead.

I was so poor that I literally had no money. Thank God for my boyfriend Mark who helped me out! Now that I've received my tax refunds (both federal and state), I feel like a rich woman!

Mark also had to move furniture around since we finally got a bed as a gift! We were sleeping on a very uncomfortable sofa bed and my back was killing me. Of course, it doesn't help that I had gained five pounds from severely unhealthy eating, which settled (as always) around my waist. I'm now trying to get rid of it, but why is it that you gain spot-gain but not spot-reduce?

We also had an company last weekend which was very nice. It was Mark's birthday and we went out to a very fancy restaurant to eat delicious food, diet be damned!

I do have more great news! I received a digital camera as a gift! I've never had one before (unless you count my bad cell phone camera). I literally couldn't afford to buy film and take my photos to be processed, which I was I have been slacking on Wordless Wednesday. I'm so thrilled to have a digital camera because now I don't have to be unundated with prints. I have a file drawer full of them. Some will shortly appear on Wordless Wednesday soon, now that I have the money to process the film.

I told Mark that when the weather is nice he'll just see a blonde blur (me) rushing out the door to take pictures. I love that you can delete the ones you don't like and that it is still small enough to fit in my purse or pocket. I just can't wait to use it. It has HD video capability, too!
