October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! Bloggers are turning their blogs pink to show they support finding a cure!
In 1991 my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Fortunately, they caught it at an early stage and while she had a mastectomy, she did not need radiation or chemotherapy. She took Tamoxifen for several years after her surgery. She has been cancer-free ever since.
That is why it is important to practice self-exams and to get those mammograms. I'm getting one this month, and so should you!
The blog Things We Share Today is hosting a blog hop to link all breast cancer awareness posts.
