I remember looking at your photos from last week and commenting that my mother would be jealous of all the irises! Once again, these gardens do mine justice. This week I can really see the beauty in the flowers themselves. Thank you for sharing your pictures, and Happy WW!

Beautiful gardens! I feel in love with wild irises in the Rockies and cannot get enough of them now.

That is an impressive garden, nice to see more views this week.
I particular like the first picture with the bridge. Makes me think of some compositional ideas.

@A Blog in the Rough -- It's really been hot on the East Coast. I guess we're making up for last summer, which was really cool.

Ms. Understood -- An award? I've never had one. Thanks so much! I'll be there!

New Jersey Memories said...

@Carrie -- Thanks! Happy WW!

@caite -- I love the different colors. That's what makes the garden so pretty!

New Jersey Memories said...

@Beth F -- You're welcome! I just took so many photos I decided to show more!

New Jersey Memories said...

@Sarah -- Wild irises must be so beautiful. I just spent some time in the Colorado Rockies in March. But the it was still snowing and the flowers hadn't bloomed. It must be even more beautiful then.

New Jersey Memories said...

@catsynth -- I love that picture on the little bridge. That man was sitting there taking photos of the irises, so I took a photo of him taking photos!

I've heard about the iris gardens and now you've convinced me that I need to go next year when they are in bloom.

When were they in bloom? June?

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

New Jersey Memories said...

@Lynne -- They start blooming in middle-to-late May and early June.

I've never seen an Iris garden! When I lived in CT I went to the Rose Garden in Elizabeth Park and have been to the Conservatory Gardens in Central Park - BUT I love Irises and what a treat to see so many. Thanks.
