Yule Log!
For many years Channel 11, WPIX in New York City ( one of the oldest TV stations in the country ), would present the " Yule Log " on Christmas Eve. While the Yule Log burned, Christmas carols would play. Now my childhood home did have a fireplace, but there was something about the Yule Log on Channel 11 that made us happy. It became a New York area tradition. I hope you enjoy it! This particular Yule Log was shown in 1983.
LOL!!! Who took that picture of my laundry basket!?!?! This is the second laundry post I've seen today. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
ReplyDelete@Ms. Understood -- it never seems to end, does it? I ran out of quarters and my laundry really backed up. In my apartment building we're only allowed to do two loads at a time anyway!
ReplyDeleteMy laundry basket is just like that sadly! Stopping by from SITS :)
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness, that so perfectly matches my laundry room! & to think just a few days ago it was completely caught up and done - you really can't ever just stop, can you?
ReplyDelete@Quasi Serendipita - I've done 3 loads of laundry today including the bedding! I was so far behind!
ReplyDelete@Emily -- it never stops! If you leave it for a few days it seems to multiply exponentially. It's so heavy to drag it down to the laundry room. I'm buying a cart to take it down there. I had also run out of quarters for the machines but remembered to get some yesterday.
ReplyDeleteAhem, I think this is exactly what's happening to my hamper. LOL. Hilarious.
ReplyDeleteMaki -- it's all so true. It just never ends. I don't even mind doing laundry, it's just that it seems endless. By the way, thanks for visiting!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh....This looks exactly like my bathroom ;-)
ReplyDelete@Emma -- a week later and my bathroom hamper is overflowing again. I just can't keep up.
