Autumn Is Here in New Jersey!

Tuesday, September 29, 2009

I think that the autumn is the prettiest time of the year in New Jersey. I haven't been able to go anywhere yet because I've been down with a bad cold, but I can't wait until I feel better again so that I can go out and appreciate this most beautiful of seasons.

New Jersey Monthly has an gorgeous issue about taking fall day trips. You don't need to spend a lot of money to see beautiful places. They are right in our own state!

You can see waterfalls and haunted hayrides, teadances and murder mystery dinners, beautiful fall foliage and apple festivals.

The Thomas Edison site in West Orange will be reopening on October 10th. I've been there many times and it's a wonderful place. Your kids will like it too, even if it is educational!
